Steve,
I have a trio of elaphe helena. They are pretty undemanding snakes and do very well for me. I keep them just like my corn snakes in a rack system. Just keep them warm in the winter, as they don't hibernate, getting cool can kill them. They breed all year round, they stay small, and the eat mice very well. I think you'll like them if you decide to get them.

: Hi,
: My local dealer has got in a pair of baby Trinkets. I think they look very pretty and was surprised that they were very cheap. Is this due to any care problems with this species? Are they difficult or is this just due to them being common, and/or not particularly sought after?
: I'm very tempted to get these little fellas but want to know of any potential problems with them? If they aren't sought after, why? These guys are very cute!!
: Steve
