The subject in question had posted another query on the kingsnake forum which suggested he was deliberately exposing his brooksi king to more prey items than it could ever eat, and also larger [live] prey items than he would be able to eat. Suffice it to say that anyone who frequents both forums put two and two together.
[that is, he's feeding live prey animals to his snakes as "behaviour experiments", which is unusually cruel to the prey and dangerous to his snakes.]

If we misunderstood the questions, let him come forward and explain this statement [from the kingsnake forum]:
He has ofter klled other snakes, lizards and mice much large then he could possible eat but he attacks and kills as if enjoying it. Watched him takle a full grown mouse once, he himself is only about 12 inches but takes on much larger prey only to leave them one he's killed them. Once watched him kill a huge mouse (quite a dramatic scene) leaving it complely only once killed.

Well?

: but have to say I was confused over the comments made in response to "Serpentenatious". Thought the guy (or girl) had a legit question about the ratsnake. Mine follows anything I hold with precision-like attention too. Why was he attacked like a snake-killer or something. Is this a place where you have to carefully guard every word you submit for fear of being chastised? Shame on you who feed like sharks with blood in the water.
