yep hes a male alright....one of my favorite snakes.....I got bout a year ago. i was buying waxworms for my rough greensnakes and just happened to see him in a container marked "agressive"..no one would touch him to feed him or give him water.....he was marked down to like 10$..they just wanted him outa there....so..having several ratsnakes at the time(bout 23 or so) i said hey, whats one more...(hes actually never bitten me)...I lost him about a month or so after having him....he pushed his screen off and booked it......i thought he was gone for good.....well 6 or so months later and 2 feet longer, he showed up again..(he had been sneaking into my aviaries, eating young birds..)..and to think, i blamed rats...not ratsnakes..;-P
