Personally, I always fed at longer intervals than three days but if they are accepting the food and not regurging or refusing it then they should be okay. Essentially they're getting four pinkies a week - you could give them less and they'd be fine but it doesn't sound like they're suffering.
Russian rats do like cooler temps though, and it's not a good idea to push them too hard in the eating stakes, as they tend to take longer to reach full maturity than some other elaphe - due I'm sure to their long hibernation periods...
One thing I did notice for the future - even when they get quite big, 4-6 feet, they still seem to prefer smaller food items than another ratsnake of similar size might eat.
