Now that we are fairly along in this year's breeding season, can we share any info regarding changes from last year's season. I noticed a few weeks ago on the pituophis forum that several Northeastern breeders experienced late egg laying as opposed to previous years. The pituophis brumation and copulation timetable was the same, but the females seemed to hold their eggs alot longer than previous years. Not just weeks, but a couple months. I thought that if anyone of the Elaphe breeders/hobbyists had experienced any large or different fluctuations to previous years, this would help alot of us in future years. Remember, captive breeding is our avocation. Just a thought.
