This snake looks very much like the ones that are found in the North Thailand-CentralBurma-to maybe south Yunnan China area, commonly refered to as Blue Beauties. They are NOT from Vietnam ! This was a mistake when the first ones were imported and most still believe thats where they are from.
The pattern is very simalar to SOME E. t. Yunnanensis, and there is quite a large variety in color to the so-called Blue Beauty.
As you most likely know the shade of blue can be anything from Bue-bluegrey-slate grey,,whatever... not much for greens or yellows. and there hasn't been enough info or work on these to grant any subspecies status.
