I would say that he will most likely become trustworthy again. I have been bitten one time by a taiwan beauty, and that was a defensive strike from a neonate. None of my other hatchlings have ever even struck, nor have the adults. I nearly got bit once by a missed feeding strike, but that's as close as I've come.
In my experience the taiwans are more docile than some of the other taenuria. My blue beauties, while still relatively hesitant to bite occasionally get excited and strike.
Just increase his food by about twice, and give him a month or so, while still handling him and he should go back to his old self.
: As I indicated, this snake has been the one I always let people handle because he is active and Never would bite. Should I expect to get him back to this point again? Do yours bite like this? I am more trusting of my chondros at this point. Between my new experience and the pictures posted in response to my first post, I am concerned that my tame snake has changed to the point that I won't be able to trust him.
