The Chinese stripe-tailed rat, E. t. taeniura, is my favorite, because it is the smallest, most northerly, and one of the prettiest, I think. You can see all the subspecies (about 7 or 8) in Schulz' monograph on ratsnakes, but it's still well over $100.
