Hi Soe - I hope this catches you in better spirits. I've only just gotten into Elaphe recently and have been obtaining some hatchling pairs as I go. Not all of us want something for nothing. I don't think I've ever inquired about a proven pair. If I see someone post pictures of snakes they are working with, (BTW - thanks for sharing the picture you posted) I inquire about getting on a list for a pair of hatchlings. I feel more comfortable and a greater pride of success in raising a hatchling and getting it to breed. Remember, if you obtain a pair of proven breeders and haven't raise a hatchling, you will need that knowledge to care for the upcoming neonates. Even when I see posts of someone selling a proven pair of breeders, I usually don't answer. If someone came to me with a proven pair of a project they had been working with I would definately listen, but that is because there is probably some specific reason for it. If you are selling a pair to go in another direction, it's unfair of me to not give you the money to go in that direction. Don't they realize you need money to purchase snakes also, usually at a quite higher price than they realize. And thanks Walt Deptula for stirring up the pot on pictures because my wish list goes out to next year, my wife might not send you a Christmas card. HaHa. Actually it's been great because I can see what people are working with and don't have to look blindly around.
