My nice Luecistic Texas Rat

I fell in love with pic I saw at South Mountain Reptiles of the luecistic rats, and had to have one despite all the books I have read saying texas rats are nasty. Well I got my little girl and she was nicer than my amel corn!! Very tame and almost "personable" if you can call a snake that. But, now that she is a year old, she is starting to act more skitish. I worried thay I'm losing my little friend. I have been paying more attention to my brand new baby Brazi rainbow boa. If I hold her more will she calm back down?
