I could use some help here. I have my first clutch of Taiwan Beauties hatching (actually my first clutch period) and I have some questions. When I returned from vacation the shells had just begun to crack open and everything looks good (I can't believe it but it looks like ALL twelve eggs are hatching). I had one egg that was in a bad position in the clutch (I didn't seperate the eggs) it was "on top" and no matter how I turned the clutch that egg was "trapped". Sure enough it opened up on the side that was pressed against the container top and while I'm sure he may have had no problems I helped him out any way. He looks healthy and is already very active. Did I do the right thing helping him out? This just happened about an hour ago and I haven't touched the others. Also while I know the first feeding generally won't occur until after the first shed, how quickly do they need water? I assume immediately but since this is my first time I'm not afraid to ask "stupid" questions. I have deli type containers for them and a heat source. I have raised a couple of "babies" but these are my first hatchlings so any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I'm rattling on it's because I'm a little excited about this (ok EXTREMELY excited). Thanks.
