Hatching Elaphe frenata **pic**

I thought the group might enjoy seeing a Chinese Green Ratsnake (Elaphe frenata) caught in the act of hatching. These three eggs were produced from wild-caught parents imported last year. Two have now emerged and the third has pipped.

I apologize for the image quality, just purchased a newer model Mavica and am still a bit lost with it. Also this is my first post, so if the image fails, there's some on our website at the link below.
