: I have heard (and read) time and time again about how black rats are one of the more aggressive obseletas.I find this hard to understand.I live in Kentucky,and over the last 30 years I have caught(and released mostly)probably 200 black rats.With the exception of a few juveniles,and maybe a couple of adults,they seem to be a very laid back group,and don't seem to bite.Once again,these are ones from Ky.I was wondering,was the experience the rest of you have had in other parts of their range different than mine?This includes dozens of large adults,many >6'.Just curious.
