I don't keep this species but have read a fair amount about them and it sounds like your humidity is too low and the tank may not have enough ventilation both of which could cause a resp prob but i may be corrected on this
: I have some Gonyosoma problems. First off I finally got my adult, WC female red tailed green rat snake to eat a rat pumped full of Panacur. His last fecal was more solid but still had some tiny green speckles all over it. What could this be? Also, I think she might be coming down with a repiratory infection. I took her out to soak her, since I had not seen her drink for 2 weeks and she appeared to have SLIGHTLY labored breathing, just loud enough for me to notice. Could this be a problem? How can I fix it? I keep her at 50% humidity and a glass 55 gallon with a screen lid. Thanks!
