It could be a fem. Ready to lay a clutch, it could be a male looking to breed, it could be temps, it could be he's full, it could be sick, could be near a shedding cycle-Dont worry until its gone @ 2 months with no feeding. Still, dont freak-my male corn has gone 4 mos. with no food in the Spring/summer. He got thin, but beefed up quickly when he started again.
Experiment with cooling at nite and warm up again during the days.
