That is very interesting if you can get your hohenackeri and situla to survive outdoors. Let us know how they do.

I understand wanting to just keep the species that hibernate. All my colubrids hibernate for three or four months, except the babies. It's interesting that even the moellendorffi will hibernate up to four months, or more. It also frees up a lot of time that can be used for something else. Like you, I have the perfect environment for hibernating animals. Enjoy the summer.
