: OK easy one this as I'm new to reptile breeding, and this forum. What is the approximate incubation period from laying to hatching for the eggs of E. o. spiloides, and what is a good temperature? I have 13 in an incubator at the moment at 28 degrees centigrade (all a good size - last two years they've been a bit on the small side and not survived) and the books I've read are surprisingly vague or give ballpark figures for rat snakes generally. Thanks all.
I have 3 clutches my self E.o.obseoleta. From past experince mines normaly hatch in 60 to 65 days around 80 to 83 degrees I hope this helps .
