Trace,
Have your snake's stool checked by a vet. It doesn't necessarily have to be a "herp vet".
Panacur (Fenbendazole) and Flagyl (Metronidazole) are two different medications for different types of internal parasites. Panacur treats nematodes like roundworms, hookworms, pinworms, stomach worms, lung worms, and strongyloides at a dose of 25mg/kg (repeat after two weeks). Flagyl treats protozoans like amebiasis (entamoeba sp.) and flagellates at 25-50mg/kg.
I am by no means a vet or want to give medical advice for your snake, but just provide some information I got from the book "Understanding Reptile Parasites" by Roger J. Klingenberger, DVM ($8.95 at amazon.com).
I have treated both types of parasites with these medications successfully, and I did not self diagnose my animals, but had their stool checked by my vet (paid less than $10 for the stool check, and few bucks more for the medication).
I hope this helped.
Best regards,
Sacha
