Today is day 71 at 81 degrees. These eggs are huge, atleast compared to gtp's, carpets, hondos, etc. I manually pipped one egg on day 66 and that baby is alive in the egg and beautiful. I have no idea when to expect the others to pip because no one could offer me any solid information on these in respect to breeding. I was told 66-68 days at that temp by one breeder so that is why I pipped it. I also incubated at the lower temp because some expressed caution going any higher would cause kinking. Obviously it is taking a little longer. Now my next dilemna is if they don't pip by early tomorrow morning, I will be out of the country until next thursday. I would hate to have any die in the egg so I am debating on pipping the other eggs at the last minute before I leave just to be on the safe side on day 72. Hopefully mothernature will give me a sign. Wish me luck.
