black rat ques

i have a 6 foot (+ or -, were talkin millimeters here)black rat that still has a strong juvenile pattern. black saddles and stripes on a dark gray background, with reddish marks low on the sides. its seems like its getting darker, but has anyone ever seen black rats like this??
