If you ever come to the U.S. (I think you're in Europe), you might do a little better. Several people are captive breeding moellendorffi. The prices fluctuate, but I'm sure you can find them less than $500. I think you can get an adult too. I put a link below, so you can see my pics at photopoint. Let me know what you think :-)
(PS:) Don't bother with imports. Like Chad B. said below, they are death waiting. Don't waste your money. Captive hatched moellendorffi can be easy to raise.

: I have desperately been trying to acquire an adult breeding trio of red-headed rat snakes over the past few years to no avail. I have occasionally come across cb juveniles for $500 ea., but would like to get mature adults (and not pay that much). Monet reptiles (China reptiles) has WC adults available for $25, but the minimum order is $500. Does anyone know of importers that could get them for me or would let me add onto an order of theirs?
