: chad , you are going to HARD time finding those adults. Your best bet is to buy feeding c.h. babies. Notice I said feeding, these guys can real tough to get feeding. This is a problem even with c.h. babies sometimes. The wild caughts out of China will almost impossible to keep alive longer than six weeks much less six months. The snakes in China are caught for the food market not the pet market and are treated about as poorly as a reptile could be and still be alive. Getting w.c. moellendorffi to feed and breed can and has been done, but why try the almost impossible when you can perfect c.h. babies? The cost for babies is high, but when you think about how many snakes the first breeders had go through to get some that live long enough to breed the price seems about right. We(Pro Exotics) tried to add some w.c. mandarins to our group. At that time we had bred mandarins and raised up about 15 c.h. babies to breeding size. The six w.c. mandarins were housed perfectly and the first died within a week. Within a month all six were dead. W.c. Chinese reptiles are just damn tough to keep! please think about those babies if you like moellendorffi. I have desperately been trying to acquire an adult breeding trio of red-headed rat snakes over the past few years to no avail. I have occasionally come across cb juveniles for $500 ea., but would like to get mature adults (and not pay that much). Monet reptiles (China reptiles) has WC adults available for $25, but the minimum order is $500. Does anyone know of importers that could get them for me or would let me add onto an order of theirs?
: Thanks
