HELP! WHAT KIND OF HYBRID IS THIS??????

I am sorry, but I do not have a pic yet. I live in Huntsville, Alabama and caught a rat snake earlier this year. I was sure that it was a hybrid between a black rat snake and yellow rat snake, but I now question this. The reason is that I looked in field guide after field guide, and even talked to people who live near me, and all said yellow rats live farther east, and furthermore,I have never found a yellow rat here. It is 43 inches long and is an olive green with stripes and blotches (now you know why I was sure it was a black x green). Please let me know, and if you can find any pics on this hybrid, please send them to me at Vegeta7323@aol.com.
