Hi Keith - I had the same thought and question earlier this year with my L.m.thayeri. I posted the question on the kingsnake forum and received some favorable responses. My female laid 8 eggs. Her weight and health looked good so I did what Walt has suggested. I fed her a hopper twice (she had been eating thawed/frozen full grown adult mice previous to her egg laying). After the hoppers I started introducing the male again. She appears to be gravid again and has done another shed. I am expecting another clutch. I based double clutching the Thayeri on the fact that a few others had double clutched their Thayeri's. I also had included a female L.g. goini in my original question on the kingsnake forum. I did not have anyone answer that had specifically done it with the goini so I elected not to double clutch her. People did say the goini should be O.K.
