: : I have a female Texas Ratsnake and a male Cal. Kingsnake, I doubt it but can they be bred together?
: Hi Shawn,
: Sure it is possible. It is also possible for you to breed with your dog but you probably wouldn't choose to do that. Perhaps more relevant, would you intentionally breed a pure bred dog to a different breed?
: I would strongly advise you against this practice (hybridization) but if you choose to partake, I would suggest that you make certain that your Cal king is well fed.
: In regard to TC's comments that the results are "beautiful serpents", I would suggest that the Hybrid Forum is the place for such misguided opinions. Misguided in my personal estimation, that is. No offense intended, TC.

It is immpossible for a person to breed with a dog. A person might be sick enough to try, but babies would not result. I agree that the hybrid forum is the place for this discussion, but the question was asked here and that's why I answered it here. As far as being misguided... well I just call it having an open mind. I prefer not to be CLOSE minded on the subject and can see the beauty in a King bred with a Corn. I guess you think blacks and whites shouldn't be together either for fear they would create a hybrid person. I think that as long as you disclose what they are properly if selling them that it is okay. From now on I'll post on the hybrid forum with these types of posts unless I'm answering a question.
