Way ta go, Walt. Hope they all hatch for you. It's a great feeling when those eggs firm up and get chalky white. And we need more of those coxi (great name) :o)

TMC

: My female layed four large, white eggs this very morning that I candled with positive results. The eggs averaged out as 6.05 cm long (2 3/8 inches) and 2.06cm wide (13/16 inches). Curiously, the eggs do do not display typical colubrid texture and showed no signs of being stuck together as is most normal with viable colubrid eggs. This also seemed the case in a coxi clutch deposit photo posted here by P.E. This may have more to with the very large egg size and the manner in which the female positions her body to deposit, or it may just be another interesting coxi idiosyncrasy possibly rooted in egg texture. Regardless, I'm one very happy keeper today. In breeding terms, Monday has been a good day, we will see what Tuesday brings.
