Hi dg,
Liked the picture.Looks like with less glare the colors would be very soft and have the feeling of watercolor washes.The head reminds me of my email to you regarding flat-top wedges,and long snouts,but I find the head pleasant,and only different somewhat in the manner of Boomslangs and Mambas(except eye).BTW later I need to email you again if it is alright regarding a young Louisiana m--k snake that is eating(apparently)anything it can subdue!
The young white oak snake is settling in hopefully,and following shed is still extremely chalk pale with the small blotches silvery-taupe in color;they are somewhat x-shaped,and evenly spaced down the spine quite distantly apart.It would not take much more for this snake to be patternless,but I can not open the Mendelian box at this point.Interesting.
