This is just my very limited experience, but I have found that when clutches are infertile, for some reason, there seems to be more difficulty in laying the eggs. However, and I must repeat, that observation is based on pretty limited experience. That being said, if she has a good quiet place to lay, like a dark hide with damp peat moss inside, and is left alone, she will probably finish laying. A blue beauty of mine went almost 3 weeks last year before I finally had her operated on to remove 2 eggs she still retained. Good luck!
: I don't know how often this happens, but someone told me they have certain females that almost always lay one or two eggs a day or 2 before laying the rest of the clutch. Any one else ever have this happen?
: : My rat snake laid one egg yesterday and then stopped laying, its been 24 hours when should I start to worry I can feel at least two more eggs HELP.
