There seem to be two known morphs of the Mandarin rat. The most common has a short red dash in the middle of each scale while the uncommon one has no red at all. But I've never seen one with THAT much red. I went and looked at my 2-yr old; he looks like about 25% of yours (my wife calls ours 'mustard 'n ketchup'). You may have a new color morph there IMHO.
