Snake eyesight does not have the resolving power that you and I do. Therefore, they wouldn't see another snake several feet away if it wasn't moving. When you factor in the reflections on the glass and all other interfering variables, they might as well be in different states.
However, snakes will smell each other, whether they can see each other or not. Since smell is probably a more important sense to them than sight, they wouldn't be seeing anything they hadn't already detected by smell.
Not usually a problem, unless you have a pair and the male is trying to get to the female, or you have one snake that musks frequently. That will often disturb snakes of the same species that smell the musk.
