A Ratsnake...I think??

Caught about a 32" snake this p.m. here in Nor. Alabama, hanging out around an old farm building. Its dark, kind of a dark slate, almost black, with slight yellowish to whitish patterns. Definately not an eastern king, was thinking maybe a ratsnake. Can anyone help? I'll post in "What Kind of Snake" forum. Thanks.
