I think the answer would be yes. Have you just tried to remove the snakes when you first see them?
: I occasionally find Black Rat Snakes in attic and basement, which I leave in the house because they help keep the field mice which get into the house under control. The problem is, that the snakes sometimes don't do a good enough job, and I am forced to put poison down for the mice. I've tried traps, but find it too messy to handle. My question is, if a snake eats a poisoned mouse, will the snake suffer ill effects or worse, die?
