I have had a Black Rat Snake, 36", for almost two years. He was wild caught and is still a little jittery, likes to try to get away sometimes when being handled, but otherwise is great. Last night my neighbor came over and said that there was a snake in his garage. I went over and found a Black Rat Juvenile, about 10" long. I was wondering if I decided to keep the Juvenile, could they be housed in the same unit, or will it become food for my adult? I built a nice entertainment center looking enclosure, 36"w x 24"d x 78"t with a bottom cabinet and two enclosures above. One enclosure is for my Rat Snake and another for my Cal King. If I kept the Juvenile seperate until he got bigger would I be able to put them together at any point in time?
