In college I worked at a pet store and wanted to do the same thing as you. I ended up making up the care sheets myself, based on my own research and reading. When my boss noticed what I had done, not only was he surprised that I put so much effort into educating our customers, he also implemented a discount program for customers who bought a book along with their animal (those Advanced Vivarium books are perfect for this). If a customer bought a book with their new pet, they got the book at 50% off. If they bought a book to read before buying their pet, all they had to do was bring their receipt back in and we would give them half the book price off the cost of the animal. Our customers loved this program, and it saved them a lot of heartache later.
