Rat snake mechanic

Here is a pic of the black rat snake that stays under my car hood twice a year. The first time was about seven years ago when I opened my car hood and found him wrapped around the ac hoses! He was about five feet long then. When I finally got him out, and carried him outside he turned around and bit me on my knuckle! Funny thing is he is big enough to do some damage but he did'nt even leave a scratch on my hand. I guess he just wanted to show me he did'nt appreciate me dropping him! Now every summer he hangs around the back yard without a care in the world!
