Get rid of that spotlight.............NOW.
Very likely to stress your radiata, and trust me you do not wish that to happen.
Also you might want to think replacing the substrate with kitchen tissue. This should be kept SLIGHTLY damp. They seem to feed much better this way. I have been using 40cm pieces of 15cm diam. PVC tubes as "hide boxes" for all my snakes.
Works like a dream.

: i'm gettin a luetistic 2ft male yearling on next thursday and housing it in a wooden front openin viv (36''by 13'' by 13". i am using a spotlight and heatpad, wooden chippings as a substrate and the usual requirements (waterboul, etc.). if there is anythin that needs to be added to this setup or if somethin is wrong could you please reply soon (before thurday!!),
