His appetite started to leave, and I took him to the vet. Well, the vet didn't know what was wrong. Said it looked like some kind of fungus. I didn't keep him too humid or too dry either. THe day after I took him to the vet, he had breathing problems and died. That killed me. BUt now... my leucistic texas rat snake, my baby, has the very same thing. I've caught it early, and soaking him in the antibacterial wash the vet gave me, but I'M FRANTIC!! This snake is my baby!He still has his appetite, but there is a small patch already dried like a scab and peeling off.... also, when it does peel of, it takes a layer of scales off. It's painful to the snake, and painful to me! Does anyone have ANY clue of how to help me. Anything would be appreciated!!!! Thanks!!!!!
