: : if you have snakes...you will not have mice...
: you would have to "plug" up all the holes around your home...
: they can get in through small openings...
: I too live in Pa...(Columbia) and I wish I had snakes around me....
: good luck....JY
Would rather have mice than the snakes........
mice are easily killed with bait that is cheap and inexpensive.....
if i needed too i could place 100 mice poison boxes out and know that the population will go down......not so with snakes......
I do not have just a few snakes....i have a den full of them with more skins than i can count,a few would be fine, a couple dozen are another story, especially when all i see are the adults.....
You are more than welcome to come down and take some snakes with you, then you will have snakes where you live......I am not trying to wipe out the population of black snakes, just trying to make it bearable to live amongst them, i posted this message in here to seek help removing them, instead of killing them, because killing them is not fair to them at all and is useless, senseless if you will. I figure there are enough people in my area that like them and could basically adopt them. Good for me ,good for snake. I appreciate the info about the quarter size hole, all the knowledge I can obtain from here will benefit the snakes as well as myself.
