I don't even keep them.. but I did hear from different breeders that the leucistic variety is usually better tempered than the normal-colored variety, probably due to all the captive breeding involved with the leucistics.
I held a few adults at a reptile show - they were kind of uneasy in the hand but not mean. Beautiful snakes - they were awfully tempting.
