I can't really give you a ton of info on these. I can say wild caughts carry heavy parasite loads and I don't think I've ever seen a CB for sale. They get very long and although I'm not qualified to go into their taxonomy I would have to say they're much more like a racer then any Elaphe. They seem to except mice fine but I think they're more of an opportunistic feeder and in their native land I'm sure that consists of mainly amphibians and fish. Sorry if I'm way off base on this all, I've had very few dealing with the genus. They seem to be nice snakes and I'd love to see them CB more often.

PS The few I've seen all flicker their toungs in a extreemly odd manner. More of an out and then around and around type thing.
