: Does this morph actually exist??? I'm just a little leary since it's April Fool's day (LOL)
: Hi Dean,
: Yes, this morph exists but like I mentioned the ones I saw were nothing special. I took my camera to photograph the animals, since based on the description I received they sounded like awesome animals. When I got to Ohio, I decided to save my $4 roll of film for a rainy day, ;)
: Maybe someone else out there has a pic of the flame leucistic TX rats that they will share. Rainer, what was your opinion of the flame leucistics?
: Take care,

Hey dg thanks for the info.
I was told by ...yep'..Tom Dew that these animals came from a breeding of leucistic Texas Ratsnakes.
He was selling the "Flame" adult breeders. The two adults I saw appeared very contrasting. One was almost all redish with a white head and the other adult much lighter coloration.. somewhat similar to an alb. Everglades ratsnake.
What interested me about these animals is their "bonafied" Texas Ratsnakes status (hence my letter)
Since dg saw them up for sale last year and they were for sale at the Columbus show on sat. and the Cinncinatti show on sunday and I have heard good things regarding Tom Dew. I have no reason to beleive otherwise. I think it's safe to assume they are the real deal and no April fools joke.
Think we will see/hear more on these as the 2001 hatch we be available soon.
...Who knows dg you might end up some of em before the years up!:)
