: A funny story. About nine months ago I sent a letter to the editor of Reptile and Amphibian Hobbyist about getting them to run an article on mandarin rat snakes. Well, looking through the May issue I see that letter published. The editor responds that he will be looking for someone to provide a good article. So if anyone knows a mandarina authority who is also a writer maybe you can convince him to jump in and inform and enlighten us. I know that magazine likes glossy color photos so mandarina should be a natural. Someone who can talk about captive husbandry and the present state of the captive bred population would surely be providing useful data for those interested in these beautiful animals.
John,
Have you talked to Bill Gillingham in Lodi California? Take care. John
