I've got a pair of the anomala sub species, and they are completely different in appearance, but they are worth more because not many people have them in collections.
They like the temp a little bit cooler than most snakes (mid to low 70s is perfect) and have a high metabolism.
I've seen russian ratsnakes for as cheap as $15 and as expensive as $60 (adults) but i've seen baby korean (anomalas) ratsnakes go for as high as $100 newborn.
If you like the colors of the normal russians, wait a month or two, and there should be some CB babies around.
: Cheers, TC
: The guy I'm looking to get them off tells me they are the anomala sub species. Do they have the same markings, disposition etc. as the Schrenki Schrenki? I thought adults got to about six feet -is this correct? I'd be keeping them in pairs in vivs 4x4x2 feet - enough room? Do you have any photos of the Koreans you used to have?
: Thanks for all your help - they look and sound great and I think I'll get them if the anomala are anything like your s.schrenki.
: Best
: Steve
