Origin of the Orange Texas Ratsnake

Does anyone out there know where the Orange Texas Ratsnake breeder stock originally came from. I have heard that most of the current stock around today originated from Lloyd Lemke's breeders. Is anyone familiar with the story of how Lloyd got them? Thanks for your help!
