Things like this happen sometimes. It's very frustrating. I know someone that had a whole clutch of timber rattlers that never ate for him and all died. It could be that the babies were from wildcaught adults and were full of parasites.

: I guess the stress of regurging and then not eating for so long was too much for her. I'm sad to lose her, but am definitely not getting any more transpecos. This is the second baby that died on me.
