: By all means, get one...you won't be disappointed. they could live in a 60 gallon when adults but I would recomend either building your own, larger, display cage or purchasing one...60 is a little cramped...as far as people to go through, I got mine from The Great Valley Serpentarium. Brad Tylman here in Oregon also has some spectacular animals. good luck, randall
: : I was thinking about getting one, i just went to a reptile shop who had some. I just wanted to know if 2 full grown adults could live in a 60 gallon tank. Oh ya, could they use that bed a beast stuff for a bedding? And last, does anyone know any good taiwan breeders and info pages about them?
My Taiwan Beauty also came from Great Vally serpentarium. He is now a little over 4 years old, slightly over 9 feet long and weighed 7 lbs 4oz yesterday. Stll handle-able, not nippy, but VERY active! He can very quickly stretch out more than 3 feet from you, which means he is able to get his head or tail hooked around stuff you'd never think he could reach. He calms down after a few minutes, though and will lay quietly on my wife's lap during cage cleanings. His favorite place is up on the top shelf of my cat's living room climbing tree; he'll stay up there quietly for hours, but it really freaks out the cats, who leave the room after one look at whats happened. I'd say that the 60 gallon won't last long for one, let alone two of these monsters. My single one is content in a 100 gallon. Did I mention his water bowl is a turkey roasting pan? Not all of him fits at once....
