Heating Vision Cage

Can you use a heating pad in a Vision cage? Do you just stick (or attach) it to the bottom of the plastic? I just got my Vision enclosure and I have been using a 20long aquarium and have used a heating pad on that. Please give me some ideas!!! Thanks!
