I decided to look at this post because as we speak my friesi is curled around me neck. i think like a lot of animals it has to do with the individual a lot. yes my snake hardly ever holds still even for a minute. she is a CB hatched in 1999, 43" and is not nippy at all. however....i hold her for at least an hour every day except 48 hours after feeding. the breeding adults that this one cam from were 8'3" (male) and somewhere near 9 (female). They were housed in a cage 5Lx2Dx3H. I am making mine a cage that is slightly higher with climbing branches. my plan is for a cage 36" high 36" long and 18" deep.
