Thanks for the info. Yeah I had heard about them being like that. I also own a False Water Cobra. She eats in much the same way including that when she's dont she will bite anythign that moves. i make sure to handle her every day to keep her tame as she is rear fanged and these snakes get HUGE!!! i was playing with her mother at the serpentarium yesterday. the mother has the body shape of a boa, is 10'3" long and weighs at least 9 somethign pounds. i know what you mean about holding the fire hose and this thing can hood like you wouldnt believe. my taiwanese is CB from 1999's hatch and while she won't hold still at all she doesn't seem nippy. talk to you later
