Yea, he's been this way as long as I've had him, as a matter of fact when I caught him he had a retained eye cap, was thin, and a little beat-up looking. Over the course of the past 8 or 10 months he has realy improved, nice weight and shiny scales, but sheds have always been a problem. I always have to help him with at least one eye cap and some skin on his head. I have 4 other snakes in the same room, housed the same way and "popeye" (for the retained cap) is the only one with this problem , can't be humidity or anything else I can think of, the others shed perfectly! Well, thanks for the info, I'm glad he's not the only one, hate it for them though!
